Step 1. We need to make a connection between you and the lab by using a customized (and free) software solution that is super simple to use - works on PC and Mac too. It's a "lite" version of the popular ROES software, so if you already use ROES - this will be a snap!
To get it rolling you will need to set up an account with Buckeye Color Lab if you do not already have one. It will bill directly to your credit or debit card and send you email order processing, shipping, and tracking emails. Click here to start the QuickSetUp account, or simply use your current Buckeye Color Lab account number to activate the new MyBWLab.net ordering portal once you download it.
Step 2. Let's get you the software you need by downloading it for free right away. Once you download and install the small application, it will launch automatically the first time, then you just double click the icon after that - like any other program to get is started.
Once the MyBWLab.net application is open, it looks like this on your desktop and you can arrange the window sizes and pallette locations as you wish:
Step 3. Notice the control buttons at the bottom of the main window? That's where the action is. Take a minute to look them over then click on the My Information button to open your account. If you need an account number, it's fast and easy and open 24/7 right here.
From there, simply follow the steps found on the main window and place your first order. It's easy and you'll love the prints!

here's a few tips on what you can expect...
• This software is easy to learn (about
12 minutes), easy to use, and works the same on a Mac as it does on a
PC. You can install it on as many computers as you like - all using
the same account number to make ordering as easy as can be.
• You can submit either color or B&W files for printing. We will convert your color files to B&W and you will see a preview of how they will look once you are inside the software. You will most likely be happier with file you convert to B&W yourself. Please follow our TIPS page of ideas for best results.
• Files will need to be in JPEG or TIF formats, in 8 bit only, and they will need to be in RGBcolor mode - not in GREYSCALE mode.
• We do suggest you have your monitor profiled for the best color and tone possible and agree with the recommendations found on the popular ShootSmarter.com website. Here's their current list of monitor profiling kits.
• There is a $12 minimum order fee which we hate to bill, so please order over the $12 min so you get the prints you want and the value you deserve.
• If you already are a Buckeye Color Lab customer, and you use the BOSS ordering system, there's no need to download this software if you don't want to. Click here for info on how to access the TrueMatch B&W system through your current BOSS software.
